Niina Mero is a Finnish writer and popular romance scholar, currently living and working in Hämeenlinna. She did her Master’s in Creative Writing and is working on a PhD in Literary studies. Her thesis deals with modern Finnish romance fiction.
Mero has written category romance for almost ten years, but hasn’t considered herself an author until her first full length novel ”The Death of Romance” was taken on by Gummerus Publishers. The foreign rights for the novel have been sold to Sweden, Spain and Estonia.
Her second novel, ”Wounds of Love” was published in the summer of 2021.
